well between the three of us, there is one in williamsburg, one in greenpoint, and one in the west village (although she is an honorary, and quite likely, soon-to-be, brooklyn resident).
as far as going out, we’re guilty of spending many-an evening at Manhattan Inn. it’s our go-to. great bar/restaurant on the will-b/greenpoint border. ALWAYS a good time there, at night some serious debauchery and dancing happens. No Name Bar, on the same street is a good spot too. Marlow & Sons for indie celebrity sightings and to-die-for olives. in the summer we’re a bit more mobile and ride our bikes all over the borough, from Fort Greene (Olea for delicious sangria), to Red Hook (Botanica for fancy cocktails with a lover), to Vinegar Hill House (for a quiet patio brunch) and round out a weekend with pitchers of beer and cheap eats at Gowanus Yacht Club. Seriously, in the summer a bike really is all you need for a good time, in my opinion anyway. Makes maneuvering this place far more enjoyable.
Not terribly specific nor mysterious, I apologize, but hopefully mildly enlightening. where are your fav Bushwick digs? always open for eastward suggestions!

Only in McCarren park does someone come around selling gourmet jello shots of made of champagne and elderflower liquor.
Black Tongue - The Yeah Yeah Yeahs
